--Following race 3 an Information was filed pursuant to Rule 520(4)(c) when it was found that Mr M Cameron, the declared rider of BAHA, failed to make the book weight. Mr Cameron pleaded guilty to the charge. By way of explanation Mr Cameron said he did his best to make the weight by going to the sauna. He said he thought he would be fine so didn?t bother weighing himself after the sauna.
----Mr C George, Stipendiary Steward, produced Mr Cameron's record which showed 3 previous charges under this Rule in the last 12 months. He believed a fine was warranted.
----The Committee considered all submissions and taking into account Mr Cameron's record with 3 previous charges, and his guilty plea, we impose a fine of $400.
