An information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr C J Allison under Rule 869 (6) (b) + (c) in that with approximately 1300 metres to run Mr R M Gorman, driving BEAUDIENE TERMINATOR, shifted ground outwards forcing MEGLEA and FRANCO AMITY to race wider on the track.
--Mr Gorman admitted the breach.
--Stipendiary Steward Mr Knowles used several video clips to highlight the alleged incident which both Mr Gorman and Mr Hunter agreed that Mr Gorman had made an error of judgement.
--In fixing penalty, Mr Gorman has had seventy two race day drives and has not been charged under any rule. Consideration was also given to his guilty plea. Mr Gorman was fined the sum of $200.00
