--Following the running of Race 3 a protest was lodged by Stipendiary Steward, Mr P Knowles, alleging the third placed horse by the judge, DANGEROUS WHEN WET (C Buchan) broke with approximately 40 metres to run and was lapped on by MISS RUTHLESS (A Beck) at the winning post.
--Mr C Buchan, trainer/driver, of DANGEROUS WHEN WET did not contest the protest.
--The official margin between third and fourth was a head.
--The committee was shown several video clips of the alleged incident, which in their opinion clearly showed a breach of the Lapped-On rule occurred.
--In upholding the protest, the committee relegated DANGEROUS WHEN WET to fourth placing, promoting MISS RUTHLESS from fourth placing to third placing.
--The amended placings now read ?
