Following the running of Race 3, the Les Donald Amateur Driver Mobile Pace, an information was filed by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. M. Ydgren against Mr K. I. Turnbull, Licensed Trainer of “Willie Nelson” (5), alleging a breach of Rule 864(2)(d), in that the boring pole was not correctly affixed and came adrift shortly after the start.

Following the running of Race 3, the Les Donald Amateur Driver Mobile Pace, an information was filed by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. M. Ydgren against Mr K. I. Turnbull, Licensed Trainer of “Willie Nelson” (5), alleging a breach of Rule 864(2)(d), in that the boring pole was not correctly affixed and came adrift shortly after the start.
--Mr Turnbull had indicated on the information that he admitted this breach of the Rules and also that he did not wish to be present at the hearing.
--Penalty:
--Mr Ydgren advised that Mr Turnbull had no previous relevant convictions and recommended a fine of $100-00.
--We were satisfied that a fine of $100-00 was appropriate in this case and Mr Turnbull was therefore fined the sum of $100-00.
