--Mr Hadfield had been spoken to by Mrs Williams on the phone, and he had advised her that he admitted this breach, and that he did not want to attend the hearing. The Chairman also spoke to Mr Hadfield on the phone and he confirmed that he admitted the breach and that, after discussions with Mrs Williams, he had accepted a two day suspension as being an appropriate penalty.
--Taking all the above matters into account we have agreed that an appropriate penalty in this case is a two day suspension. Accordingly Mr Hadfield’s Open Horseman’s Licence is suspended from after the completion of racing on 7 March 2010, until after the completion of racing on 19 March 2010. This suspension includes race meetings at Addington on 16 and 19 March 2010.
