DECISION & REASON
--Following the running of race 7 an information was lodged by the Stipendiary Stewards alleging a breach of rule 869 (3) (b) by Ms Jenkins in that she drove carelessly in moving out causing interference to Announcement (S Walkinshaw) rounding the final bend.
----At the outset of the hearing Ms Jenkins confirmed her written admittance of the breach and that she wished to be heard.
----The parties agreed that the evidence presented at the enquiry was by consent incorporated into this hearing.
--The Stipendiary Stewards recommended a monetary fine only and indicated that this was the first occasion in the last 12 months that Ms Jenkins had appeared on such a charge. Ms Jenkins accepted that a fine was appropriate.
----Given consideration to all matters the Committee imposes a fine of $200.00.
