DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 7, The ANZ Night & Day Pix Card Pace, an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mrs K. Williams instigating a protest against Rock Jam (16) driven by Mr G. Moody which was placed fourth by the Judge. It was alleged that Rock Jam had broken in the straight prior to the finishing line and was "lapped on" by Make An Advance (11) and Stiff Upper Lip (17) .
--Video coverage of this incident was shown to illustrate that Rock Jam was in a break when it reached the finishing line and that Make An Advance and Stiff Upper Lip were within a length of this horse. A copy of the photo finish also confirmed this. Relegation of Rock Jam to sixth placing was sought.
--Mr Moody attended this hearing and advised that he did not contest that his horse should be relegated. Accordingly Rock Jam is relegated to sixth placing. The amended places are as follows

--2nd - (7) Wairiri Blaze
--3rd - (1) Ballistic Missile
--4th - (11) Make An Advance
--5th - (17) Stiff Upper Lip
