--In Race 6, following a protest with a relegation of SEVEN HILLS, Mr Lammas rider of SEVEN HILLS admitted a breach of Rule 871(1)(d) ? Careless Riding.
--Submissions as to penalty were made by Stipendiary Steward Mr A Coles, who submitted that a Listed race importance and loss to connections of black type warranted a suspension of up to three weeks.
--Mr Lammas last had a suspension for careless riding on 24 October 2005.
--Mr Lammas stated that he had ridden over 1000 rides and also rode in the Central Districts.
--The excellent riding record and admission of the breach was taken into consideration. A suspension was imposed to commence at the conclusion of racing on 19 July 2006 until the conclusion of racing on Saturday 5 August 2006 (8 days).
