Following Race 4 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 330(3)(c). The Informant, Stipendiary Steward Mr A Coles alleged, that rider Mr T Harris failed to make correct weight for SPYDAMAN.

Following Race 4 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 330(3)(c). The Informant, Stipendiary Steward Mr A Coles alleged, that rider Mr T Harris failed to make correct weight for SPYDAMAN.
--Mr T Harris admitted the breach and was present at the hearing.
--The Rule 330(3)(c) was read and Mr Harris acknowledged he understood the Rule.
--Mr Coles said Mr Harris, the declared rider for Spydaman, was unable to make the handicapped weight (plus 0.75 kg) and was replaced by Mr A. Calder.
--Mr Harris had nothing to offer.
--PENALTY SUBMISSIONS
--Mr Coles said Mr Harris had 3 previous charges under the Rule this year. The most recent was a fine of $250.00 on 26.8.09 which was a midweek meeting. He submitted a fine of not less than $250.00.
--PENALTY
--The Committee took into account evidence and submissions as presented. We encouraged Mr Harris to get his weight under control as he was a talented rider whose record under this Rule is poor. In Mr Harris’s favour was this breach affected one ride and it was a mid week meeting.
--Accordingly we impose a fine of $300.00.
