Following the running of race No 10, an information was filed alleging a breach of the rules. The informant was Mr. J M Muirhead and the defendant Mr. A. S. Grayling the driver of The Very Devil in race 10.
--The information stated that Horseman Mr. A. Grayling the driver of " The Very Devil", moved outwards, forcing Red Gem & Brooklyn Guy to race wider on the track with approximately 1200m to run. Red Gem driven by Mr. R Green and Brooklyn Guy driven by Mr. B Lee.
--Mr. A. Grayling admitted the breach of this rule and did not wish to be present at the hearing of this information. Mr. Muirhead showed the video of this incident and it was clear that The Very Devil moved outwards forcing Red Gem and Brooklyn Guy wider on the track at this point of the race with 1200m to run. Mr. Muirhead made submission on penalty and asked for a fine of $200.00 having taken into account the admission of this breach by Mr. Grayling.

--Having taken into consideration the admission of the breach of this rule by Mr.A.S. Grayling, this Judicial Committee imposed a fine of $200.00 in this instance.
