O?Reilly, the driver of "Without Fear" (7), alleging a breach of the "push out" rule. --Mr O?Reilly had endorsed on the information that he admitted the breach of the rule and that he did not wish to attend the hearing. --A video of the incident was shown where the defendant had pushed "Motu Miss Anna", driven by Mr J. T Keast, wider on the track at about the 1300m mark. --PENALTY: Mr Larkins advised that the Mr O?Reilly had no previous relevant convictions. A fine of $200-00 was recommended. We were satisfied that a fine of $200-00 was appropriate, and Mr O?Reilly was fined the sum of $200-00. |
