Following Race 3 an Information was filed pursuant to rule 867 (3) (C).  The Informant, Mr J Oatham, alleged that Mr S Marsh, trainer of INQUISITION in Race 3, presented his horse with faulty plates.

Following Race 3 an Information was filed pursuant to rule 867 (3) (C).  The Informant, Mr J Oatham, alleged that Mr S Marsh, trainer of INQUISITION in Race 3, presented his horse with faulty plates.

Mr Marsh pleaded guilty and did not wish to attend a hearing.

Mr Oatham explained to the Committee that the two back plates were in very poor condition with nails hanging out.  The horse had to be replated which caused a delay to the start.

--

Accordingly we impose a fine of $250.00
