--

Mr McLaughlin stated that the matter had been detected by an assistant stipendiary steward at the plating inspection and asked for a penalty in the range of $150 to $200. As this was the defendant’s first breach of this Rule and as he readily admitted the breach, we impose a fine of $150 and remind the defendant of his obligations under the Rules of Racing.
