--Stipendiary steward N Goodwin told the committee that this was M Cameron's first breach of the rule for about 12 months. He believed, however, that the breach was a serious one as another horse's chances had been extinguished and asked for a period of suspension
--DECISION AND REASON
--The committee in arriving at its decision to suspend Jockey M Cameron did take into account his good record under this rule and his admittance of the breach.
--However, the committee believed it was a serious breach that required a period of suspension as a penalty.
--Consequently the committee imposed a period of suspension commencing after the completion of racing on Saturday 13 January 2007 until the completion of racing on Thursday 18 January 2007.
