Mr Taylor admitted the breach through his agent, Mr Veint, and indicated he did not wish to be present. Mr Renault stated that Mr Taylor’s record was clear with respect to this rule and asked for a fine of $100. I am aware this is the usual fine for a breach of this nature and, there being no aggravating factors, I impose a fine of this sum and remind Mr Taylor, through Mr Veint, of his obligations under the Rules of Harness Racing.
