An information was filed by Chief Stipendiary Steward, Mr C J George, against Licensed Public Trainer, Mr B J Anderton, alleging that Mr Anderton, the trainer of OF THE ESSENCE, an acceptor for Race 1, and UPCLOSENPERSONAL, an acceptor for Race 2, had failed to declare riders for those horses by the required time.

An information was filed by Chief Stipendiary Steward, Mr C J George, against Licensed Public Trainer, Mr B J Anderton, alleging that Mr Anderton, the trainer of OF THE ESSENCE, an acceptor for Race 1, and UPCLOSENPERSONAL, an acceptor for Race 2, had failed to declare riders for those horses by the required time.
----Mr Anderton was not present at the hearing of the information but his partner, Mr S C Anderton, had signed the Statement by the Defendant endorsed on the information form indicating, on behalf of the Defendant, that the breach was admitted and that the Defendant did not wish to be present at the hearing of the information. The breach was found proved.
----Mr George informed the Committee that the deadline for declaration of riders for the meeting was 10.00 am on Thursday, 15 November 2007.
----Mr Anderton did not notify riders for those horses until he was contacted by the National Racing Bureau at 10.36 am on that day.
----Mr George sought a fine of $50. Mr Anderton was fined the sum of $50.
