Decision: The Information alleges TF Shaw the driver of FLYING ALONG drove carelessly when he moved his horse from 3 wide inwards causing a check to NIGHTIME HUSTLER

The Information alleges TF Shaw the driver of FLYING ALONG drove carelessly when he moved his horse from 3 wide inwards causing a check to NIGHTIME HUSTLER (F Cossey) which broke when racing into the first bend.

Mr Shaw admitted the breach and did not wish to be present at the hearing.

The Video of the alleged incident was shown and it clearly showed Mr Shaw’s horse moving inwards.

The Stipendiary Stewards felt the breach warranted a fine.

--

When arriving at a penalty the Chairman took into account Mr Shaw’s admission of the breach and his co-operation with the Stipendiary Stewards.

However he did drive carelessly and a fine of $250.00 was appropriate.
