Following the running of Race 1, The Robbie's Bar & Bistro Trot, an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. G. McIntyre instigating a protest against Dazzle Eyre (14) driven by Mr R. A. Rennie which was placed third by the Judge.

DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 1, The Robbie's Bar & Bistro Trot, an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. G. McIntyre instigating a protest against Dazzle Eyre (14) driven by Mr R. A. Rennie which was placed third by the Judge. It was alleged that Dazzle Eyre had failed to promptly regain its proper gait after it broke in the straight prior to the finishing line.
--Video coverage of this incident was shown to illustrate that Dazzle Eyre had been in a break for more than 50 metres when it reached the finishing line. Disqualification of the horse was sought.
--Mr Rennie attended this hearing and advised that he would represent the interests of the owners. Mr Rennie advised that he did not contest that his horse should be disqualified. Accordingly Dazzle Eyre is disqualified from third place placing. The amended places are as follows
