| -- Following the running of race No 1 information was filed alleging a breach of rule 864 2 (b) the informant was Mr B J Van Kan and the defendant Mt C Wilson Trainer. The information stated that trainer Mr C Wilson (Bishops Blessing), failed to apply or affix the go straight spreaders worn by Bishops Blessing so as not to come adrift. --Mr Wilson admitted the charge and did not wish to be present at the hearing. --Mr Van Kan showed the video of this incident and it was clear that this gear malfunctioned and indeed had come adrift. --Decision And Reasons. --The Judicial Committee having taken into account the admission of this breach imposed a fine of $200.00 in this instance. |
