--Following the running of Race 2 an information was laid by Chief Stipendiary Steward Mr N. R. Escott alleging a breach of Rule 870(5), the "lapped on" rule, by "Hanger Pride" (12) driven by Mr I. R. Cameron. Video coverage of the race was used to show the incident. Mr Cameron did not attend the hearing and had written on the Information ? "I do not contest the protest and agree that the horse should be relegated behind No. 14".
--Accordingly "Hanger Pride" is relegated to 5th place, and the amended places are as follows.
