At the conclusion of Race 4 the Woodlands Motors LTD Discretionary Trot, a protest was lodged by stipendiary steward Mr C.J Allison alleging Danny Cool (9) B. Williamson, broke in excess of 50 meters in the final 200 of the race. Danny Cool finished in fourth place.

Mr Allison showed the committee a video clip of the incident highlighting Danny Cool, who was racing at the front of the field, going into a break at about the 220 metre mark and continue on in a break to the winning post.
Mr. B Williamson did not contest the protest.
Reasons for Decision:
The committee was satisfied there was a clear breach of the rule and the protest is therefore upheld and Danny Cool is disqualified from the race.
