PENALTY DECISION OF JUDICIAL COMMITTEE DATED 15 SEPTEMBER 2020
(1)-At the conclusion of the ZOOM meeting we adjourned in order to consider the Summary of Facts, Race Film, Counsel’s submissions and Mr Shirley’s guilty plea and impose the following sanctions on Mr Shirley for his breach of Rule 869(3)(g).
(2)-His Open Driver Reinsman licence is suspended for 4 months commencing at the conclusion of racing on Friday, 18 September 2020.
(3)-He is fined $1,000.
(4)-He is ordered to pay $400 to the JCA as a part of the costs that it has incurred.
(5)-Full written reasons will be delivered as soon as practicable.
