Mr Williams demonstrated on the videos that CALL THIS FUN was not in its proper gait for approximately 80 metres in the home straight.
Mr Ford did not contest the protest.
Reasons for Decision:
After viewing the videos from the various angles, the Committee is satisfied that CALL THIS FUN was not in its proper gait for a distance in excess of 50 metres in the final 200 metres. CALL THIS FUN was free of interference at the time. The breaking horse regulations are clear in that the horse is deemed to be in breach of r 870(3) in that it has failed to promptly regain its proper gait.
