At the conclusion of race 6 The Expressions Of Interest Special Handicap Trot a protest was lodged (Information 2414) into the third placed horse by the judge MAKAREWA JAKE (D Dunn) alleging that MAKAREWA JAKE was in its incorrect gait in excess of 150 metres racing inside the 1900 metre mark.
