Mr Munro sought disqualification of ANOTHERSUPERSTAR pursuant to r 1003(2).

Submissions for Decision:
Mr Munro demonstrated on the videos that ANOTHERSUPERSTAR broke exiting the back straight on the first occasion and galloped and then paced for a distance of approximately 170 metres.
Mr Allen did not contest the protest.
Reasons for Decision:
After viewing the videos from the various angles, the Committee is satisfied that ANOTHERSUPERSTAR broke for a distance in excess of 150 metres. ANOTHERSUPERSTAR was free of interference at the time. The breaking horse regulations are clear in that the horse is deemed to be in breach of r 870(3) in that it has failed to promptly regain its proper gait.
