Mr Renault demonstrated on the videos that BETTER THAN MONEY broke for some 200 metres at the start of the race.
Mr T Williams, the driver of BETTER THAN MONEY and Mr B Williams, a part-owner of the horse, indicated on the information that they did not contest the protest.
Reasons for Decision:
We viewed the side-on and head-on angles. These clearly show that BETTER THAN MONEY galloped in excess of 150 metres at the start, which is contrary to the Breaking Horse Regulations. The distance is at least 200 metres.
