Facts:
Stipendiary steward Mr T W TAUMANU lodged an information instigating a protest following the running of Race 2. The information alleged that Horse 8 BET ONLINE, placed 3rd by the judge broke from its gait with approximately 350 metres to run and galloped the remainder of the race.
The trainer Miss A Donnelly appeared briefly at the hearing and endorsed the information 'I do not contest the protest" and signed.
Video footage of the relevant stages of the race were shown to the committee to confirm that Bet Online and broken and continued to gallop through to the finish line an estimated 350 metres.
