Facts:
Stewards lodged a protest into the third placed MIMLLIONDOLLARMONKEY following Race 10. The Stewards alleged MILLIONDOLLARMONKEY “broke from its gait in excess of 50 metres inside the final 200 metres and was in breach of r870 (3) and the Breaking Horse Regulations.”
The Connections of the horse did not contest the protest.

Mr Munro stated MILLIONDOLLARMONKEY was competing for the lead about the 100 metres with two other runners. Approximately 70 metres from the finish MILLIONDOLLARMONKEY broke from its gait and despite the efforts of its Driver unable to regain its proper gait at the finish.
Ms Haley stated the Stewards were seeking the disqualification of MILLIONDOLLARMONKEY from its third placing under r1003 (2).
Reasons for Decision:
After viewing the video replay the Committee is satisfied that MILLIONDOLLARMONKEY is in breach of r870(3) and the Breaking Horse Regulations.
