Following the running of Race 1 NZ Bloodstock Mobile Trot Information A09850 was filed by Stipendiary Steward Mr V Munro with the Judicial Committee. It was alleged that Kiwi Heir broke in excess of 50 metres in the final 200 metres of the race.
Mr Paisley the trainer of the horse and representing the connections of the horse confirmed that he did not contest the protest and would not be present at the hearing.

Reasons for Decision:
After viewing the film replays a number of times the Committee was satisfied Kiwi Heir was in breach of the Breaking Horse Regulations with disqualification being justified.
