Facts:

An information lodging a protest following race 4 alleged that horse 2 Youre The Man (D Butcher) broke  and was lapped on by two other horses whilst crossing the finish line.

The information was endorsed " I do not contest the protest" and signed by Mr W Rich on behalf of the owner trainer Mr G Rogerson.

The Judges placings were

1st     9     Neville Vaughan

2nd    1     Katelin Brooke

3rd     8     Burano

4th     2     Youre The Man

5th     3     Illuminati

6th     6     Kevies Moment

Stipendiary Steward Mr Muirhead replayed footage of the run home and identified the various runners.  He indicated where Youre The Man driven By Mr D Butcher broke short of the line. As the horse crossed the line it was lapped on by both Illuminati and Kevies Moment in breach of the breaking horse regulations.

He requested the committee consider relegating Youre The Man behind those two runners.
