At the conclusion of race 10 the Cup Day Saturday 29th January Special Handicap Trot, A protest was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. M. Ydgren alleging that with approximately 200metres to run, Yaldy Boyz (Mr K. N. Larsen) broke out of its gait for excess of 50metres when finishing in 5th place.

Mr K. N. Larsen (Driver Yaldy Boyz) after viewing the video clips of the alleged incident, did not contest the protest.
Reasons for Decision:
Clearly Yaldy Boyz has exceeded the Breaking Horse Regulations , not returning to its gait, and galloping in excess of 50metres in the run in the home straight to the winning post.
